Primary Judge for domestic cases, Anne Arundel County Circuit Court, 1988-2001. Member, Family and Domestic Relations Law Committee, Maryland Judicial Conference, 1998-2001.

Member, Attorney General's Low-Income Domestic Committee. Member, Power Plant Siting Advisory Committee, 1971-82 (chair, 1978-82).

Born in Washington, DC, June 4, 1936. Attended St. Anselm's Priory High School, Washington, DC. Served in U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, 1953-64. Georgetown University, A.B., magna cum laude, 1958; Georgetown University Law School, LL.B., 1961. Admitted to Maryland and District of Columbia Bars, 1961. Member, American and District of Columbia Bar Associations; Maryland State Bar Association (chair, litigation section, 1990-91; chair, alternative resolution of disputes committee, 1988; chair, subcommittee on mediation & evaluation); Anne Arundel County Bar Association. Board member, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), 1987. Co-Chair, Civil Settlement Week, 1989. Sports correspondent, Washington Star, 1954-70. Member, Londontowne Publik House Commission, 1981-92. Founding President, William Paca Inn of Court, 1987-91. Founding President, Margaret Brent Inn of Court, 1989-91. Trustees' Award, Anne Arundel Bar Association, 1988. Man of All Seasons Award, St. Thomas More Society of Maryland, 1999. Died at West River, Maryland, April 15, 2007.
