The search room is available by appointment only with expanded time slots and increased capacity to best assist you. To visit in-person, please fill out the request an appointment form. After submitting the form, you will be contacted directly by one of our archivists who will provide a confirmed appointment time and quickly offer any necessary research assistance to identify the materials you wish to view when you arrive.
By making an appointment, you will guarantee that we have a space reserved for you and that we have the collections immediately available for you to use. We will continue to wear masks for your protection, and we ask that you continue to do so as well when in the search room.
We are continuing to offer remote service as well, and you may always:
- Place copy orders online. You may order a certified copy of any unrestricted document generally required for legal needs, or an uncertified copy of a digitized birth, death or marriage record for reference purposes.
- Contact us for research assistance or with any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org or 410-260-6487
- Access digital records from home on our website, including What’s New Online, our training videos and research guides providing details on how to find our most searched record types.
